Lately, I have been getting a ton of questions about my overall transformation from a Fat Bastard to now… well just a Bastard…lol

With all the questions there has been an underlining theme: Nate, how’d you do that?

The ‘smart ass’ answer — Very Carefully

Seriously though, the best way I can think of to answer that question is by breaking down my experience with getting healthy. So, let’s start by fast forwarding past the 14 years I spent being a chubby guy (See Picture Below) and start when things took a major turn for me.

One day when doing some Facebook stalking, I stumbled upon a friend who just had some major results getting fit. He was giving all the credit to www.FitLife.tv for his rapid transformation. With my interest peaked I headed on over to there site and watched a video on Juicing, which I bought right away (you should do the same). I figured if my buddy could do it then I could do it and hell if I can do then you can definitely do it.

As soon as I bought the book over here I consumed it in like 4 hours then started following Drew Canole’s lead. Oh yea, Drew is the guy I give credit to for my transformation from Fat to Fit in less than 90 days.

Anyways, juicing was the beginning of the process. The kick ass part was when I first started I instantly stopped having to drink coffee in the morning and red bull in the afternoon just to make it through the day. Plus, now I am filling my body with much needed nutrients and not unneeded stimulants.

After juicing for a while and seeing the drastic changes, I figured this guy Drew – Knew what the hell he was talking about and ended up hiring him to hold me accountable and support me with his 90 Day Transformation Program. We kick started with his Alpha Reset, which is a 5 day juice fast. At first, I thought he was a crazy SOB, but when I lost 8 lbs, detoxed my body at the same time, and felt better then I can ever remember I became an instant believer.

Now, this was just a start for weight loss and not a ‘Quick Fix’. It was just the beginning to a new life that was developing. I quickly learned that what you eat, when you eat it, and how much you exercise determines your weight loss. More Importantly, breaking bad habits and rebuilding good ones is the only way to sustain a healthy lifestyle.

So after 90 life changing days with Drew here is a breakdown of my NEW typical day.

5am – I wake up and spend time just being Thankful for everything I have been afforded in life.

6am – I workout for about 90-120 minutes. 60-75 minutes Weights and 45 minutes Incline Treadmill Walking

8am – I drink a protein supplement with a raw egg, which is the purest form of probiotic your body can get

10am – I eat 2-3 Eggs and Steal Oats (Healthy Carbs) and have a Juice (30% Fruit / 70% Vegetables)

1pm – I eat a 4 ounce piece of lean meat with green vegetables or salad.

3pm – I have an afternoon snack or small meal. This is usually a handful of almonds, a protein bar, or some grilled chicken breast tenders.

6pm – I eat dinner which is a 4 ounce piece of lean meat with green vegetables or salad.

8pm – I have a green Juice

Some Nights I walk for 45 minutes on a Treadmill at an Incline of 15 at a 3.5-4 Speed. Actually, incline walking is a great way to burn fat.

Quick Tip: Eat 5-6 times per day and eat meals on small plates…we are conditioned to finish what is in front of us, so the small plate limits the amount. It also satisfies our mental determination to finish what we started.

The reason, I broke this down was to hopefully get across that being healthy is a commitment. I struggled for 14 years to get healthy and once I became determined to make a Lifestyle change it happened for me.

Diets don’t work…healthy eating and exercise do. (write that down)

Knowing the reason ‘WHY’ you want to make a changes is key…It is what allows the mental toughness to keep you pushing forward on the days when every thing else is telling you to Quit.

And my WHY is my son…becoming a Dad changed everything…I knew I needed to be healthy to be able to run around and keep up with him as he gets older. You can read my detailed WHY over here.

If I were to make recommendations to anyone it would be simple…Determine your ‘WHY’ and then start to make Micro-Commitments to changing bad habits to good habits. A couple of Micro Commitments per week add up to major changes in 90 days. Make sure to focus on creating good habits and all the rest will fall inline exactly where you want them.

The last recommendation would simply be to buy this book and hire Drew if he has availability. He does have a fee and I can tell you that I would have paid him 10X more than he asked after seeing my results.

Here are my freakishly…yet inspiring, Before and After shots.

Before Weight 185 lbs Before Body Fat 25.4%

After Weight 145 lbs After Body Fat 6.3%

If you are still wavering on whether to make a Lifestyle Change then ask yourself this…

How much is it worth to spend some extra years ALIVE with the people you love?

To Your Health & Wealth!
