Question for you…
Which parts of your life feel comfortable?
Think about it carefully – is it your business, your health or maybe a relationship?
Whatever area it is, sometimes, the best thing you can do is make yourself uncomfortable there.
You see, what happens in in life, is we get really comfortable with where we’re at.
We settle into a motion, a routine or a way of life…
And because it’s so comfortable, we forget that more is still possible.
Check this out…
In 2017 my wife and I thought we were living the dream.
But one evening over dinner, we looked at each other and started to ask, did we want to stay comfortable…
Or did we want to push ourselves to be better…
We decided to become better – because we knew there was so much more out there.
So we blew everything up and threw ourselves into an environment where we were uncomfortable.
We packed up our life in North Carolina and moved across the country to San Diego.
That change was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made.
It expanded our minds, pushed us to improve, and brought new friends into our lives…
And at the same time, we grew our business bigger and faster than I had thought possible before.
Much of our happiness and success stems from that decision.
You see, sometimes you just have to blow shit up and throw yourself into an environment where you’re uncomfortable.
An environment that will push you and prod you to get better.
Now hear what I’m not saying…
If your marriage is doing really well – don’t blow it up to chase another man or woman…
But maybe you want to change up the routine, try new adventures, or have uncomfortable conversations.
If your health is better than it’s ever been – don’t throw all the good decisions you’ve made out the window…
But you could take your fitness to another level. Hire a nutritionist to dig even deeper or commit to a new challenge that will push your to get even faster or stronger.
And if your business feels comfortable, you shouldn’t blow up every offer that’s making you money…
But you could do an audit to see where you need to trim fat, join a mastermind for accountability or hire a mentor who can help you level up even further.
Here’s the thing, being comfortable is going to hinder your growth.
It holds you back from reaching your full potential.
And eventually, you might stay so comfortable, for so long, that your life passes you by.
I hope that makes sense…
Because my goal with these messages is to help you level up your life.
