Automation: Ford knew that automation equaled speed. The less his workers had to interact with the process, the smoother and more efficient it became.
Expertise: Ford hired a handful of specialists instead of hiring tons of general laborers. Experts who helped him dial in his assembly process, manufacturing speed, and workforce efficiency.
Now, of course, Ford’s business was vastly different from ours.
But as coaches, consultants and course providers, we can still learn a lot from his success.
